IMPORTANT NOTICE: Berlin and Paris shows cancelled. Hamburg show has moved to a different date, November 23rd. You can catch them either at 6 PM at Michelle Records or later at 8:40 at Knust opening for Giant Sand. Or you can go to both. Which is what I'm gonna do.
Kodiak Deathbeds or as some people like to refer to them: the tiniest supergroup. We don't know about that. All we know is they recorded an album, 10 songs of pristine beauty. That's what makes them special to us. Super even. And yes, they're no strangers. Amber Webber is the singer in Black Mountain and Lightning Dust, Derek Fudesco is the guitarist in The Cave Singers. Both incredibly talented in their own right. Put together, well... Listen and find out. There are a few songs available on the band's soundcloud. The album will come out September 25.

New European tour dates are now posted in the shows section. The tour will start Sept 18th in Amsterdam and wrap up in the UK with stops in Germany (including Reeperbahn!), Norway, Denmark and more.

Juno Award winners return with a new album. Hello Hum is, well let's not be overdramatic, their previous records were pretty darn great, but this one stands out. As their best to date. Or not. As Above So Below marks somewhat of a departure from their original sound. It's sparser, more minimal and more
electronic, yet unmistakably AZURE RAY. Producers Todd Fink of the electronica band THE FAINT - who also happens to be Orenda's husband - and long-time collaborator Andy LeMaster (BRIGHT EYES, NOW IT'S OVERHEAD) left their distinctive marks.
